Protu helps you understand how people work — not what they know or what they've done, but how they naturally contribute to a team.
We measure **behavioural preferences**: how someone collaborates, makes decisions, influences others, and approaches their work. This gives you insight beyond CVs and interviews.
How it's different
### Not a skills test
We don't measure knowledge, aptitude, or technical abilities. Protu reveals work style and behavioural preferences.
### Not a personality test
While related, Protu focuses specifically on workplace behaviours and contribution styles, not broad personality traits.
### No right or wrong answers
Every profile has strengths. What matters is fit — with your team, your culture, and the role.
The Protu assessment
Everyone who uses Protu — candidates and employees — completes the same assessment:
- **Format:** Choice-based questions (not free text)
- **Duration:** About 10-15 minutes
- **Experience:** Conversational, not test-like
- **Access:** Via email link, no account needed
The assessment asks about preference and tendencies. People pick options that feel most like them.
How insights are generated
### Markers
High-level categories that describe major aspects of work style. Think of these as the big themes — how someone approaches collaboration, decision-making, influence, and more.
### Attributes
Specific expressions within each marker. These give nuance and detail — not just that someone is collaborative, but how they collaborate.
### Contribution style
The headline summary of someone's profile, based on their strongest patterns.
