Founding Commercial Lead

Remote · Full time

Protu is building intelligence that helps organisations understand their people, teams and leadership. We’re now looking for someone to build the commercial side of that business: finding the organisations that need it, helping them understand its value and turning early interest into lasting relationships.

We’re a small team working across behavioural science, AI, design and engineering.

What you’ll do

You’ll work directly with the founders to turn Protu’s early customer relationships into a repeatable commercial business. This isn’t a role built around an established sales process. You’ll help determine what that process should be.

  • Find the organisations and decision-makers who have the strongest reason to use Protu.
  • Lead customer relationships from the first conversation through evaluation, adoption and expansion.
  • Shape how Protu is positioned, explained and sold, working closely with Product and Customer Success.
  • Turn what you learn in the market into better product decisions and a stronger commercial proposition.

What we’re looking for

Our team is strongest at careful reasoning, challenging assumptions and developing ideas in depth. What we have less of is the instinct to take something unfamiliar into the world, make it understandable and build momentum around it. That’s the contribution we’re looking to add.

What you’ll bring

You’ll know how to take something unfamiliar and make it understood, trusted and bought. You’ve built or led commercial growth before, ideally in an early-stage business, and know how to create demand when buyers don’t yet have a category for what you’re selling. You’re as comfortable shaping the proposition as you are taking it into the room.

Start your application

We’ll review your application first. If we think there could be a fit, we’ll invite you to the same conversation at the heart of Protu. You’ll receive your own behavioural read, whether or not you progress further.
