Board & Leadership Teams

Every decision that shapes the organisation should leave it wiser

Protu builds a living understanding of how your board or leadership team forms judgement, revealing who shapes its thinking, what deserves attention and how its decisions could be strengthened.

See how judgement takes shape

Understand how the board’s different contributions shape its collective judgement, where challenge and influence are concentrated and what may be going untested. The picture develops as the group changes, rather than remaining fixed between formal reviews.

See the relationships behind the judgement

Explore how directors connect, where their contributions reinforce or differ from one another and which relationships carry particular influence. See whose perspective could bring something different to the group.

One person can reshape the group around them

A new appointment, departure or shift in responsibility can change how the group reaches decisions. Protu explores what that change could strengthen or weaken, what the group might come to rely on and how the effects could reach the organisation it leads.

Carry decisions into the work that follows

Keep the group’s priorities, decisions and follow-up work connected, so opportunities for the group and its individual members don’t get lost between discussions.

Built to advise, not overreach

Behaviour, not paperwork

Understanding begins with what people choose to share in conversation, not their messages, meetings or day-to-day activity.

Never a value on a person

Explore what a change could mean for the group without assigning a score, rank or value to any director.

Inside what it can evidence

A change can be explored as far as the evidence allows. Where that evidence runs out, the answer should too.

Private where it needs to be

Individual feedback stays private and is only made available under the access controls agreed for the group.

The same intelligence, across the organisation

A board or senior leadership team is one part of a wider picture. The same underlying intelligence connects people, roles, teams and leadership, so decisions can be understood in the context of the organisation they shape.

Frequently asked questions

It can inform one, but Protu goes beyond a periodic board evaluation. It builds an ongoing understanding of how the board forms judgement, what it relies on and what changes as the board changes.
Yes. A senior leadership team and a board have different responsibilities, but both depend on how judgement forms across the people making consequential decisions. The same underlying intelligence can be used to understand either in the context of the organisation around them.
Each member has one private fifteen-minute conversation with Protu. That creates their individual read and contributes to the shared understanding of the group.
No. Individual feedback remains private. Shared views are made available under the access controls agreed for the group.
Changes where composition and judgement matter: appointing or replacing a director, leadership succession, a departure or a shift in responsibility. Protu shows what each change could alter around the people making the decision and across the organisation beneath them.
No. For boards, Protu works alongside the systems already used for meetings, papers and minutes. Its role is to add understanding and advice around the board itself and the decisions it makes.
What Protu understood, the alternatives considered and what was decided stay on the record. What happens afterwards becomes part of that history, giving future decisions more of the group’s own experience to draw from.
Private individual feedback isn’t reused in decisions about employees or teams. Where group-level understanding contributes to the wider organisational picture, it does so without exposing those private individual reads.
